Graham Potter was fired from Chelsea on Thursday, so Frank Lampard has been brought back to manage the team until the end of the season.
The club’s all-time leader in goals scored was manager at Stamford Bridge for 19 months before he was fired in January 2021.

Frank is a club legend and is in the Premier League Hall of Fame “In a statement posted on the club’s website, Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali said this.
“As we keep looking hard for a permanent head coach, we want to give the club and our fans a clear plan for the rest of the season.
“We want to give ourselves the best chance of success, and Frank has everything we need to get to the end.”
