A source informed Reuters on Tuesday that MLB will send the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies to London for their annual London Series next year.
MLB held regular-season games in London in 2023, 2024, and 2026 as part of a long-term strategic engagement with the city.
The World Series runners-up Phillies and NL East rivals Mets are still finalizing preparations. The London Series was announced by Sports Illustrated.
After agreeing last year to stage “major events” in London over five years, the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs will play at London Stadium next month.
